Clearly Kieran didn’t fancy him, wasn’t great when starting but his flicks and finishing when coming off the bench will be legendary with us.

I thought by the end he was becoming a well rounded player, snapping back into defence and tackling, I'd loved to have seen him return

I liked him. Very much an impact player, he certainly did that one memorable April night.

Given the current recruitment I’m not sure where he’d fit so maybe my wish to see him here was more nostalgia than potential contribution from him in the Premier League.

I hope he does well for Burnley.

Not surprised by this.

I thought we would get him in very early as it seemed a simple one to do so when we didn't go for him it suggested we had others in mind.

Truly impaired.

We’ll always have 90+7.

As Brenner said, “Sarmiento stumbles then pokes… and scores! Oh my goodness me it’s Jeremy Sarmiento with one of the biggest goals for years”

Ah well, he won’t score any late goals for or against us in the league this season.

We can only wish him well. Given the technology and the availability to watch match highlights these days, perhaps the scorer of the most watched Town goal in history ?

Id prefer to keep Harness over getting Sarmiento for the present time. Sarmiento might be better eventually.

Thought he played a great role for us last season i wonder what Mckenna saw that has put him off signing him permanently i personally thought he was terrific when he played ala Southampton game.

He will go down in folklore now for that goal. That has to be one of the best celebrated goals ever at PR and in my opinion springboarded the final push to get over the line. Must have watched it 50 times and still gets me.

The fact that we all remember that one legendary moment on a Weds night but not much else that he did tells a tale I think!

Yep, agreed he was a decent player and certainly added something when he came on. But the fact that he was best as a sub in a championship team, and is now going to another championship team tells us why KM didn;t buy him.

Gutted to not see him back here, but Clarke and Szmodics are better than him and that's who we've signed instead.

But would've loved to have found a way to make it work

Well it's a shame we won't even be able to welcome him back at PR with Brighton, but at the same time, what are the odds he'd come off the bench and score a late winner for them if he did
