So much for using the international break to work with the new players 11:13 - Sep 1 with 1789 viewsGlasgowBlue

Most of them are away with their respective counties next week and half of the following week. At best we get them back on the Thursday before the Brighton game.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

This shows who is playing when and therefore when they might be back. Think the main benefit is that it's two more weeks for Hirst/Burns/Broadhead to get back in training and strengthen the ranks.

I think this is the full list of when Town players might appear but will edit if anyone can point out any errors. Don't think the Iraqi squad list has been released but would expect Ali to appear now he's fully fit.

Meh, At least it gives Hirst another couple of weeks without missing games. Hopefully he's fit enough for 30 mins off the bench if needed by Brighton or Southampton.

Truly impaired.

That's kind of the point of the international break.

I'd be more worried if we'd spent £100m and didn't have many players away on international duty.

Excellent work. Where geographically are those games, to get an idea of the travelling involved?

That shows how as a club we have come.

Two weeks healing for the injured players and a chance for the coaches to work with the rest of the players and the younger ones.

It is a chance for the club to take a breath and to continue the infrastructure work.

Think it's fair to say that Burgess, Al-Hamadi and Tuanzebe likely to be the ones whose travel times/distances might impact on recovery/performance that week.
