Trying to have a plan in place is alm very well but when we can't have a proven goal scorer at this level. Will ultimately cost us ..his tactical awareness and all that is all very well. We made big moves for strikers such as Ionnidis but couldn't get them over the line. I don't think it's for lack of effort. Sadly, we were probably the least fancied Prem side so the big money strikers aren't exactly going to be queuing up to sign on the dotted line. What we do have in abundance, though, is team spirit. Look what that just got us, on a day when we performed poorly.

5 games in and only Liverpool and Man City have bettered us, despite us being in the process of blending a new squad and having the majority of games away from home so far.
