Confused on two points.

Why didn't I notice him more in the Championship last year? (I know he spent the second half injured). Hull must have absolutely loved him.

And frankly why did no one higher up the food chain try and sign him?

He wasn't as good as he is now. Everybody wants to play for us.

He’s worth £30m already based on his performances this season

I noticed him in the 3-3 game at Hull, he bloody scored. Does make you question how Hull didn’t make the playoffs when you consider some of the players they had at their disposal.

The match at Portman Road. The boss said he was bringing in Edmundson to contain Delap. And he clearly did.

I didn’t either, Garv.

But he’s a real beast of a player. I can’t believe he’s so young and McKenna’s right, he’s only going to get better.

Simple answer is he wasn’t playing under McKenna, he is getting so much more influence and coaching knowledge with us than he was ever likely to receive at Hull.

Didn't he play on the wing for Hull more?

Watch his highlight reel - those driving runs are his bread and butter. However, it’s remarkable the impact he’s had against such good opposition.

The two goals aside he was utterly unplayable today, the number of times he turned Villas defenders inside out and they just dragged him down. They couldn’t stop him at all - pace, power, directness, and an eye for goal.

I noticed him alright but just thought he was a bully and relied on his strength

F**k me how wrong was I !?

The guy is going to be worth a fortune should he carry on like this

On the edge but in a good way - defenders are gonna hate him
