I get the disappointment after a defeat 10:08 - Oct 6 with 1034 views | CopfordBlue | but the level of negativity and criticism is cringeworthy and just plain wrong. Among the lowlights is a poll on whether we should drop our keeper who hasn’t cost us a point yet (the errors against City didn’t change what was a near-inevitable outcome), slagging off a new player who has played only a couple of games for us, digs at the quality of those who have been immense for us for 2 or more years, questioning the tactics of a manager who has been pretty much flawless since he joined etc . It’s ridiculous and embarrassing. If there is one fanbase in the country that should be united behind their club this season it’s ours.

I get the disappointment after a defeat on 10:14 - Oct 6 with 979 views | positivity | agree, but it's an emotional game and people will always have kneejerk reactions that they regret the next day. the only worry is if it continues and becomes a self-fulfilling narrative which feeds back to the pitch

I get the disappointment after a defeat on 10:20 - Oct 6 with 944 views | Plums | Totally agree. I went to see a Darren Moore managed Port Vale in League Two yesterday. A very sobering reminder of how things could have been. Yesterday was a set back but I seem to recall there being a couple of those last season too...

Of course it is and we all moan and groan during the course of and immediately after a game. In the cold light of day though to be criticising publicly and in writing on a forum that we know is read by fans of other teams and more importantly our own players (and probably manager), their families and friends is not a good look considering how far we’ve come so quickly.

Agree. Additionally there are 2-3 professional moaners around who regularly start entirely negative threads (one this morning, so not just an instant emotional reaction to the game) which can rather skew the tone of the forum.

I get the disappointment after a defeat on 10:40 - Oct 6 with 808 views | wrightsrightglove | This. Plus, I know WH haven’t started the season strongly, but they’ve got a settled team who have recently been playing in Europe, they’re not a team that any of us should be turning up expecting to roll over. This is going to happen this season, particularly away from home, but we’ve got to stick with the team
I get the disappointment after a defeat on 10:41 - Oct 6 with 808 views | NthQldITFC | I started to write a great long thing about how people react on a personal ego-hurt level to seeing the hugely over-achieving team they follow hit a rough patch, which only the most insane and disconnected wouldn't have seen as an overwhelming possibility, and then I deleted it all and decided that the following four words say it better: Some people are tvvats.
