Brentford - a lot to ingest 22:50 - Oct 5 with 2406 viewsMVBlue

How have they done it? Thomas Franks clearly a good manager no talk of him getting poached.
So many clubs not paying attention to their early 1st-2nd minute ruthless goal attacks.
16000 capacity but now acting like a big club signing £40m players. Retaining talent.
A total team effort, they hold records like the last team to win at Etihad, they just know their system and are a mid-table Premiership side. Bloody remarkable, but how has no one come in for Franks?

I think he will be next on the list.

But for all Brentford's fine attacking players. They are ultra pragmatic. Superb at set pieces. DO the ugly side of the game well and the have players of real quality to win them matches. Franke has done a superb job.

He's linked to every job that Mckenna is?

I think they are flattering to deceive currently. Getting credit for their fast starts but have not kept a clean sheet in the league all season, conceding poor goals against teams. They’re not that far ahead of us imo, just a bit more prem savvy.

Towards the end of last season Conor Chaplin had a bit of praise for Brentford, felt they were a club to be emulated in the way they are establishing themselves in the Premier League and explained the good things happening there in terms of team development, what that means to the players for the benefit it gives to their careers.

So when i was just reading the news piece on the BBC football webpage about how yesterday relieves the pressure on Julen Lopetegui I found this snippet amusing if you take the view that we are only a goal conceded worse than Brentford:

'A 4-1 win over newly-promoted Ipswich Town saw the Hammers score four goals in a Premier League match for the first time since a 4-2 win over Brentford in February.'

You could say the same for Stoke, Bolton, Oldham, Charlton, Swansea, Reading and the 12 or so other teams that have bobbed up to the Prem for some seasons in the sun. It won’t lat long and once their saviour loses interest or gets caught out by FFP they’ll go belly up.

Bournemouth is perhaps even more surprising (or suspicious)
