I have not felt this angry after a football game, I think EVER. I have now however got to drive to France so will post some of my thoughts once I have driven and calmed down.
A good and solid Town performance ruined by one of the most inept refereeing performance I can remember.

Agree. We played superbly but were denied a stonewall penalty and then got a ridiculous yellow/red 20s later for a non foul. Then the incompetent ref doubles down by not giving either foul in the build up to their goal.

I agree on everything but the Phillips decision, I think he was quite lucky only to get a yellow for the first one, I mean blue tinted spectacles off and everything, that was nasty and properly dangerous. The second was just stupid, yes he was pulling out of it but the boot was high and they are always given as a yellow, really poor to give the ref the decision to make. As I said though, definitely a penalty before that and at least one of them was a foul in the run up to their goal I think. |  | | |
