A video from HITC Sevens, a youtuber I generally rate very highly, has picked AAH as McKenna's worst ever signing. Think this is a bit of a harsh pick - don't think it can be anyone other than Panutche Camara...
Small sample size (281 total mins) but in the Championship he scored four goals. One per 70 minutes he was on the pitch.
A good loan for second half of the season and he's going to either come back and be a key member of our Championship squad or probably be sold for a profit if we stay up.
If we were still in the championship then he would have played more and probably would have scored more. Currently he is only viewed as a disappointing signing due to the rapid rise of the club.

Picking AAH is ridiculous.

Yeah, at a time we were desperate for attacking reinforcements in a really tricky market and AAH did a decent job as a backup striker while acclimatising to a big jump up the pyramid.
Camara on the other hand, cost 500k for about half an hour of league football and left for nothing. Without that signing we'd probably have been League One champions too, as the fee funded Plymouth's January reinforcements that season.

I'd say so too. Maybe a panic buy in the same way Adhame was? At least we got a good deal on Adhame.
I remember being surprised that we were signing a fifth central midfielder. It turned out to be the correct decision to strengthen given the injury crisis we eventually had in that position, although ironic that Camara was the one who struggled most for fitness.
