It's even worse than that. I wanted to go with my son, but because I am over 70, the system will only allow me to buy an extra ticket for someone who is an old-age pensioner as well! I managed to find an old membership number of his from 15 years ago, reset the password and buy him a ticket, but I still can't buy an extra ticket for his Mrs! What a shambles. >Ticket owner is not entitled to use price type "Adult" . Reason: By the time of the event, ticket owner will be 70 years old.<

Just register them as new users, then connect them to you as family. Then you can purchase 4 tickets and assign to each of them.

Just set them up with accounts and put in your friends and family list. Once in your basket you can select type of ticket, and to whom to assign it. It's not difficult.

ONE TICKET PER PERSON??? on 14:20 - Jan 3 with 1407 views | Lord_Mac | Thanks all for the advice. It is good to know that the problem is solvable. It may not be difficult, but it's still a pain and was unexpected to those of us who do not hungrily devour every item of bureaucracy which comes out of the club. I would argue that it is also discriminatory, as it is harder for an Over 70 to buy an extra ticket for a younger person than it would be for someone without any season ticket at all. And I've supported the club since 1964, and yet the notice that you get when trying to buy an extra ticket does not offer any advice. It just says that I can only buy a ticket for another OAP! That cannot be right, surely? Anyway, for all that, one email to the ticket office and a phone call from them, and we now have three seats together! Sorted. Well done the club.

I know the world has moved on and it's not 1995 any more, but IMO it's ridiculous that for a game with plenty of availability you can't just buy 4 seats together without assigning to a Supporter ID. Isn't that the point of general sale?! For those that say 'it's easy' - not everyone is IT literate. Maybe the club don't care, but I wouldn't mind betting that the attendance would be far higher if it was possible to rock up and hand over £10 at the turnstile!
ONE TICKET PER PERSON??? on 15:21 - Jan 3 with 1199 views | OldFart71 | My Son-in-Law said he'd go to the match, but didn't want to go on his own. I said i'd go with him. But he could only get one ticket. That is crazy. They could sell out, but for these silly situations as many don't like going on their own.
ONE TICKET PER PERSON??? on 15:35 - Jan 3 with 1175 views | Bluebell | Being season tickets holders we able to get our own tickets plus one more each afterwards. We actually wanted 5 tickets as our son and 2 granddaughters want to go. Today I had to wait for half an hour in a queue and also had to register one of them. I managed to get one more ticket next to us! Yesterday there were dozens of tickets available around us ( we are in the posh seats in the SAR upper). Why weren’t we allowed to buy one earlier? Ridiculous! I will add that son and granddaughters would love to go to every game but can never get tickets as they are unable to get season tickets!
