Given the Woolfy new contract & fact he played and captained the side in the 3rd round, you'd expect he probably starts ...

I'm not sure there will be another instance where Ben Johnson plays as a natural RB for us this season so would be amazed if Godrey isn't the RB.

I really don't see why Slicker's career should be put on hold just because Muric is struggling (understatement but trying not to be excessively negative).

Given that Walton is now out for a while, I think Slicker deserves a chance in a Cup game. Competition for places is a good thing, and that competition can now only come from Slicker (assuming we're not going to recruit a GK in the window).

I think KMac should be slow to bin Muric, as he is our only senior keeper, but I do think Slicker deserves a chance to impress. I'm not really sure why he didn't go out on loan, but given that he didn't, he's in danger of stagnation if he doesn't get any game time at all.

This is the perfect game to give Slicker a go. Against a decent, in form side from the league below. Give him a go, and see how he does. If he's going to be used a PL player for us, this is a good rehearsal.

Yup agreed i hope he plays what he regards as his best eleven but i'm not sure he will .
