A valid excuse.
I took the coach once, Liverpool away 1990's, and swore never again. Arranged to meet it at the Histon junction, which caused a load of tutting as they were delayed by about 30 seconds. On the way home my brother and our mate bagged a couple of seats next to each other leaving me to sit next to someone who point blank refused to speak to me (what did you think of the game etc), so being an annoying tw@t I decided to chat away to him all the way back whilst he steadfastly ignored me and stared into the darkness all the way back to Cambridge. A small but important victory. |  | | |

I can remember an Eastern National Coach (not the one I was on) malfunctioning on the way home from Wolves (I think) circa 1989/90.
Galloways took over not long after that. I never felt right on those Eastern Nationals, they were bloody green and yellow for a start. |  |

They’ve out sourced some of the coaches to Simmonds tonight.
The one I’m on was already at Stowmarket 5 minutes ago, we’ll be back at PR by 2.45. That’s decent for an evening match in Manchester.
For those who want to know their ITFC coach history, Galloway took over three-quarters of the way through the 1989-90 season, from the yellow and green Eastern National coaches. I’d not long started going to away games, and I thought it was a sick joke that we used a coach company with those colours. |  |

A Blackburn game comes to mind here,two drivers on the bus and we only just made KO because they stopped for their break ! When I pointed out the reason for having two drivers is they didn’t have to have a break at the same time because the extra driver on other work was not using his driving time I was met with a confused look and they said “really”🙄 |  | | |
