Group has bounced back as he expected them to, late finish, late return. Taken positives from performance. As said after game, both teams took good penalties, Jack Taylor fine.

No game in PL not competitive. Palace made progress over the season, Selhurst tough place to go, but if we're the best version of ourselves we can give them a tough game. Close game earlier in the season.

two per cent between teams on shots in box in home game, but KMc says not sure that says much. Mateta goal a big of quality. Similarities between teams, tight game. Both teams set up in similar ways. Know them well, they know us well, both fairly consistent, need to go there and put on performance.

Still in process of assessing some. Axel not available, Burgess still being assessed. Some who weren't available on Monday who will be on Saturday, some who were, who won't be.

Turning negatives into positives? If you can find right response can give a boost, but would do anyway. Some go your way, plenty don't go your way. If you find right response and stay consistent, that builds a trust between the group, particularly in one that's not been together too long. That has been consistent and common across three years, doing it differently this year. Might be winning on Saturday but response in training etc.

Still looking at ourselves rather than the table, same as previous years. Know we have to ick up points at a greater rate than we have. Externally, perception is very, very different but outcome can feel pretty similar. At bottom of table narrative can change very quickly.

Points v performance. Always believed performances lead to points. Of course, towards the end of the season might be pleased to get points without playing well, earlier, you know that you need to get more consistent performances to keep winning.

Axel not as bad as previously. Also needs op on thumb. Having op in next couple of days on thumb, the recovery from both keep him out this weekend, then we'll assess.

Julio and Omari not far from the squad, decision on whether involved this weekend. Conor still working by themselves, Szmodics having ankle op, so that's a blow. Some working on grass, some not there yet. SS joined those not going to be involved for a while. Kalvin Phillips training and in squad.

Why so many injuries? Never one reason, we'll reflect on that internally. Luck comes into it. Had one or two in last two and a half years. A lot of our injuries at the moment, Cheio, Wes, no one has a crystal ball regarding, SS, OH, tackles, Conor injury from blockign a shot. Not high proportion of muscle injuries, which would be more of a concern. Axel's first injury unlucky. Team largely playing at a higher level, that's also a factor.

Mateta, not 100 per cent confirmed. Don't want to speak to much about whether he's available or not available, scored winning goal for them here. But foolish to say he's the only threat. Physicality and quality all over pitch.

Cunha charge. No comment! I know rival fans will show interest, but I don't give it much thought. Confident FA will handle the matter.

Walton back in squad, SS out for a long time but hopeful back this season, Muric had injection. Tom Taylor had deserved involvement in squad.

Townsend and Davis in same team? Unlikely, good to have two good left-backs.

This is brilliant news. And judging by KM's comments previously, I think we can probably take this as both Omari & Enciso in the squad.

Hadn't noticed Tom Taylor on the bench on Monday... is this because Slicker is also injured?

Taylor is a number 10. Don't recall Slicker being injured.

Yep completely misunderstood - thought he was a keeper! Nice that a youth player was trusted with involvement!
