Assuming a 4-2-3-1 formation this is how Town would line up based on average TWTD ratings over the season so far

Palmer

Tuanzebe Woolfy Burgess Townsend

Phillips Cajuste

Hutchinson Szmodics Broadhead

Delap

Not sure how that team would fair in all honesty, you lot prefer Townsend over Davis, and Woolfy and Burgess in the middle has a distinctly Football League look about it. The rest of the team looks fair enough.

Burgess hasn't let us down when he has played. Your comment is harsh IMO.

None of our defence has covered themselves in glory this season, but likewise none have been significantly better or worse than the others.

I dont think Woolfy has either.

My comment was not to say that neither of them are up to it per se, but both of them have a background and pedigree firmly in the lower levels.

If they had not gone up with us last season no-one would be talking about them as possible premier league players.

I wasn't trying to run them down.

Although, perhaps surprisingly, our defence seem to do quite well in TWTD ratings. Their are two goalkeepers and 5 defenders in the top 10 average ratings. Though I suspect that the keepers both benefitted from being marked up by those who really dont rate Muric,

I think our defence has been pretty good on the whole, and that applies to all of them really, apart from at right back from time to time if Axel is out. O'Shea would be standout to me, but I think all the others have done well given the pressure they've played under, and the development they have been going through.

I think they have a very tough task with the midfield playing in front of them.

Everyone loves Cajuste and he is a super player on the ball no doubt about it. Off the ball though, our midfield is so easy to play through. Neither him or Phillips excel in that respect.
