When players are cheap they they get inflated wages. He is going to be cheap even if the clause happened to be £50m.

There is zero chance he stays, especially with his performance this season and 2026 being a world cup year with a 26 man squad.

Clutching, he is probably one of the most wanted young strikers in football at the moment, he will have half an eye on American 2026 as well, not impossible at all for him to make that squad. PL football for Delap next year will clearly be happening.
