Big Blondie fan here. Really sad & upset when I heard about this earlier. Bloody good drummer in a bloody good band. They were still rocking it last year. Those two guitarists are fantastic. Great songbook too. I wonder if they will ever play live again?

I saw an interview with Debbie Harry and Chris Stein a few months ago in which I think it was said that Chris Stein is no longer fit enough to tour.

I saw him with Eurythmics in 1986. Great drummer taken too young.
I saw Eurythmics on that tour and was surprised to see that Clem Burke was the drummer. Surprised and delighted as, at that point, I hadn't seen Blondie live.

Last year I heard a live version of Heart of Glass with a very long outro where Clem is just playing absolutely sublime drum fills for ages. He could have done that for 24 hours and I wouldn't have got bored. A truly great, great drummer. Thank you, Clem.

Interestingly, Heart of Glass was originally recorded as a demo in 1975. It had a different title then and a different arrangement.

Yes, I would have seen him on the Revenge tour as well. He was also involved in a Californian band The Tearaways & I should have gone to see them when the played at The Horn in St Albans in 2018. Blondie's 2017 album "Pollinator" has some excellent tracks.
