Apparently diabetic now, bad cold and lost my voice. But otherwise fine. How about you? Are your butts well-filled for the spring? Everything growing furiously now.

Diabetic or pre diabetic? If the later it can be turned around. Even early cases of diabetes can be reversed if there is a massive shift in lifestyle/diet. Speaking as somebody who has gone through this personally

Balls, really !? You sound alright to me. Well would you believe I have already emptied two of my butts, giving the plants a good feed of Adams Ale and Miricle grow. At this rate I will have to kick in with my ‘emergency butts’ although rain is forecast sometime next week I believe.

BT pop up. on 16:22 - Apr 10 with 1166 views | TVRBlue | Well, on my desktop I keep getting the TWTD page I'm looking at suddenly turn to a "warning" page that the site I'm on is considered unsafe. The following is at the top of my screen if it's of any help. extension://fdhgeoginicibhagdmblfikbgbkahibd/html/site_status_block_page.html On my Android I also get the BT pop up, just like Benters. Been happening a week or so now. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Oh, very diabetic. My HbA1c reading was 125 when it should have been 40ish. BMI ok, cholesterol low. They don't know what triggered it, or even exactly what sort yet. Have changed diet drastically to low carb, on metformin and within 2 weeks I'm 90% in the green zone (have a sensor on my arm for continuous monitoring without constant finger pricking). Funny thing was, I didn't feel unwell, just thirsty and peeing a lot for a few months.

And a few hours later I’ve cancelled that Avast ‘Ultimate’ subscription as it didn’t even stop the google phishing (‘you’re one in a hundred selected …’) pop-up. Will try Norton next.

Aha, it sounds like you are doing the right thing with your diet, which is fantastic as low carb seems to be a massive help when diabetic. Great that you are taking control. Have you got any weight to shift? I found losing weight helped bring my bloods downs incredibly and made the difference at my last blood check. I never felt unwell either, didn't even pee more than normal or have a strong thirst.

Or…instead of throwing money at Avast and Norton, you could send £24 to paypal@twtd.co.uk and just get rid of the ads on the site for a year!

Unfortunately the list of useless antivirus downloads is growing. Norton froze several times during scanning, would not progress, the interface was horrendous and couldn’t get it to allow me to register without signing in first, which of course I couldn’t do, so cancelled the sub, supposed to be a 7 day free trial, and they’ve still charged me for it today! Then tried AVG, which this morning allowed a ransomware pop-up … All on iPhone, only when on this site. Anyone got any tips for an antivirus that actually works?

I already have (albeit was last year and I think renewal is next month).

You shouldn’t be getting ads then? And therefore the pop-up problem shouldn’t affect you?

If you've paid for it, I'd try to persevere with Norton because it works well for me.

Well that’s the theory, but it’s obviously not working. I wonder if the issue is that my sign-up on Mac doesn’t extend to my phone? I did find some excellent advice even though I don’t use a VPN, on good old Nord, one of our sponsors. Have followed all this advice apart from deleting cookies etc., still to do that. https://nordvpn.com/blog/how-to-remove-malware-from-iphone/
