Clearly the context is massive here but I cannot imagine McKenna getting sacked before the start of next season and nor should he be. However, I can't think that has happened for any other manager has it? Or am I forgetting someone like Lambert who took them lot up 2 divisions? Did he stay? |  |

Kompany last season, in a way - he wasn't sacked by Burnley; he left for Bayern Munich.

It's rare these days. A lot of times it's not even about the manager doing a crap job, it's about moving them to that next level. Leeds may do that Farke before they start. |  |

McKenna has plenty of credit in the bank so I would assume there is no question of him leaving unless he wants to. Having said that next season will be interesting because in my view it’s the first time he will be under real pressure right from the start.
Expectation is running high amongst our supporters and, whilst the owners rightly don’t see this relegation as a sackable offence I would imagine they will want us in the mix to get straight back to the PL from the off. If we make a good start then no problem. If, on the other hand, we get to Xmas and are underperforming, for want of a better phrase, who knows what might happen?
