Where exactly did Szmodics play for Blackburn in 23/24? 18:17 - May 24 with 1167 viewsJoey_Joe_Joe_Junior

We will need a lot of goals from our 10s if Hirst is going to lead the line. Szmodics Seems a more off the shoulder type forward that a Chaplin type finisher but I think he could be key for us. Curious to see how we set up next year.

Still not convinced Szmodics suits us, unless we change the way we play.

He's not a 10 and he's not a LW, even in the inside position.

Not sure of the exact breakdown in terms of games/minutes but he definitely switched around a fair bit between ST and CAM, including from the left hand side. Behind Sam Gallagher who we obviously tried to get in January that season who's a similar profile to Hirst.

Agree think he'll be big for us next season - hard worker has an instinctive nature to his finishing we've probably lacked since he's been out. Pretty experienced now so another wise head to have on the pitch to help some of our younger 10s who can be a bit overenthusiastic.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

I’d actively looking for way to make sure our style suits him next year. A proven goal scorer at that level is important and if he stays fit, we have one.

Not that I watched him a lot, but whenever I did he seemed to be used wide on the right.

No, he's right. There were four home cup games as well.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

We were a hell of a lot more effective with him in the team than out of it!
