I think that’s been true for quite a while. Chappers used to be the speculative shooter then when he tailed off a little we brought in Broady who picked up the mantle. The Prem was different beast with opportunities rare but Delap tried to do it all himself but in reality I suspect we expected more from Omari and Clarke in terms of long shots. If Clarke can get his mojo back, he really should be that guy. [Post edited 10 Aug 20:51]

Well we barely got into Birmingham’s half - so unless we are going to shoot from the half way line…
I was disappointed how much respect we gave them, and the tactics were as if we were playing a top half prem team. Try and absorb the pressure, and catch them on the break. However, given the players at our disposal we really should be looking to dominate games at this level. A really meek performance where we got bullied, and looked devoid of ideas. | | | |
