I doubt it. Jens has spent the summer touring Europe. I’m a bit pissed off with him tbh, just a tad. He messed us about for so long and now isn’t ready to be involved properly for a while. But it is what it is.
There’s a slim chance KM could be bluffing, but it sounds genuine that Jens hasn’t had much of a pre-season at all. |  |

That's not really on him TBH, Napoli are a nightmare at the best of times & were trying to insert him into this deal and that, and his agent has been extremely "busy" too. He's also entitled to try and play at the highest level possible, you get one career and maybe not an especially long one in his case given the knee issue.

I think after the Hackney disappointment it's sort of passed people by how much of a coup it is to have resigned Jens.
And he's made the right decision for his career in terms of trying to achieve real things in the game.

It just annoyed me in that behind the scenes interview when him and his agent were saying that they’d definitely made the right decision. You could have made it earlier guys! Maybe it’s got a lot to do with his agent; some of them do their players no favours sometimes. And if Napoli are difficult fair enough, can’t do much about that.
Anyway, all in the past. Let’s get him up to speed. I’m looking forward to seeing how he works alongside Azor. | |

Possible. It’s not a biggie, just a shame we’re not where we want to be now. The real problem is the timing of the window. We’re far from alone in having late arrivals not yet up to speed. | |
