Didn't Dara and Kipre play well today? 19:10 - Nov 22 with 891 viewsSmoresy

Dara has a delightful long pass on him and I appreciated both players' forward drives when opportunities arose. Trying to get around Kipre when he's shielding the ball must feel like going for a 5K run.

They've had and will have far sterner tests than faced today of course but nevertheless I liked their performances.

Dara's best game of the season for me so far. Played some very impressive passes & I would imagine that that's been coached into him.

They were very important to stopping Wrexham's game that is for sure

They dealt with Wrexham far better than we did with Charlton and Wrexham came exactly with the same plan

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Wrexham completely lacked any ambition or ability in the last third. Easiest match of the year for our defence.

You must be on the wrong board, mate. Nobody posts positives the same evening if we haven't won, even if it's a valid point to be made. Read the room.

Yep Walton may as well have brought a chair and had a sit down. Very solid today even though they kept pumping some tricky balls forward when we lost possession.

Games like this where we are so dominant obviously requires a lot of concentration.

The suspect Plan A is hoof it to Moore and feed off knockdowns

O'Brien I thought looked promising when he came on but they're a limited team who play to an old fashioned, tried and tested plan which gets the most out of average players

They are clearly pretty organised defensively and they're pretty difficult to deal with at the racecourse Ino doubts

They weren’t pressed when they had the ball.

No, I don't agree. Kipre had some really great moments but also looked confused plenty of times. O'Shea was poor - a couple of half decent long balls that didn't come to anything, but more (and a lot more short passes) that were misplaced. And as for him and Davis continuing to allow long balls to bounce once or twice before getting them under control...

Under no pressure Wrexham offered nothing. Kipre can either put a great ball down the line and release someone, or just give it away carelessly. Didn’t think there was much to consider really, Wrexham parked the bus and were toothless without Moore.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?
