We’ve created next to nothing again. For all of the possession so much of it is along the back line. Slow, ponderous, predictable and very unthreatening. And a dreadful goal to concede.

They (Oxford) really are not. They’ve been set up beautifully. They’re snapping into the challenges and making the absolute most of what they have. No messing about, they’re on it.
They’ve have had five really good chances to nil and totally nullified any threat. Their press means two or three players around one of ours.How many mistakes have their players made? How many loose passes? Nil. That’s how it is. Sometimes you have to give credit to the opposition.
But the first half is gone. Up to McKenna as to how he sets the team up second half and how they go. We’ll see. [Post edited 28 Nov 2025 20:58]

Yeah we've played worse sides this season, obviously things could change second half when they start to drop off.
Our issue again imo is twofold
1 - not utilising our wide men correctly, davis in acres of space by being ignored and not getting the ball into the box enough
2 - we are still so slow moving the ball about imo | |

They were pretty passive until we gave them that goal.
Now of course we've given them confidence and something to hang onto. We needed to score when we were on top. | |
