In fairness, lower league strikers are a bit of a punt - a lot struggle to make the step up (e,g langstaff at Millwall.

Is that 18 million Canadian dollars? That's 9.65 million pounds. They turned down a 20 million bid in the summer.

Keeping an unhappy player who's value is decreasing and whose goals have dried up .... not a good situation. Can only see them playing hardball before selling at the best price. Then hoping Makama keeps scoring.
Makama has stepped up and looks a good find... but he's got to keep it up in a relegation battle.
