With Burnley looking almost certain to come back down 06:15 - Jan 24 with 415 viewsLen_Brennan

... and McKenna's tendency to return for players he has previously identified as prime targets to fit his system, if we do get promoted, are we likely to see us looking to
a) bring Tuanzebe back, as a proven PL ready right back, and
b) finally sign Armando Broja, international teammate of Mehmeti, who seems to be back to fitness now after a run of games/availability & very much fits the profile of what we want in a centre forward; remembering that McKenna coveted him more than he did Delap when we went up last time?

Poll: Is it fair to question McKenna's position as manager?

He have no interest in either. Both injury prone and other couldn't wait to jump ship

Broja’s fee was about £20m. He’s on around £45k a week for a five year deal. He’s certainly upped his goalscoring this season. He’s banged in one (1) goal in his sixteen appearances. Whoopee.

He’s done very nicely on the salary front and Chelsea must still be rolling in the aisles to get that sort of fee for him. Burnley will of course want to unload him, though of course he might spring into action on his good leg and initiate a survival charge.

It’s a not in a million years from me.

Same with Tuanzebe. He at least is a proper Premier League player when fit, but that’s the problem. His fitness is a huge risk and I notice he’s played only six times for Burnley this season. As it goes, and I’ve no doubt controversially, I think Furlong is a pretty similar standard but with the bonus of being less injury prone, to date.

So Tuanzebe is another no.
