Agree on both counts. Exciting as this technique can be expanded beyond just skin cancer but cost will likely be an issue as it's a personalised treatment. That said, I cannot imagine most cancer treatment is cheap anyway.

Excellent to see that mRNA research hasn't been totally destroyed by the current administration, so much potential in the technique that it needs to continued to be developed.
Whilst costly at the moment there must be thoughts that it will get used, Moderna stock was up over 100% yesterday.

A lot of modern cancer treatments are genetically targeted now anyway, this seems like the next step down the road of refinement here. Whilst it's certainly not for the faint hearted, cancer treatment on the whole is less brutal nowadays compared to only a couple of decades ago. | |

Wear a hat
Get moles checked on a yearly basis, ESPECIALLY any that you have seen change. The nurse at your GP can do it.
And from a financial point of view, critical illness cover is fantastic. Get used to the direct debit going out and you'll forget you have it. Hopefully you'll never need it, but if you do, future you will be thanking present you.
