| So who’s the first Premier League manager to get their P45? (Odds) 15:16 - Nov 2 with 1581 views | unstableblue | Currently the betting is: Carrick - 4/6 Sage - 9/4 Le Bris - 5/1 Glasner - 14/1 Arbeloa - 25/1 O’Neil is out with Emery (say what?!) on 33/1 I would have had Glasner ahead of Le Bris. I think Palace did at least keep going against Spurs despite the 10 men and Spurs in form. Carrick surely first. And of note there is a general feeling in the United fan base that relegation is in the mix - no chance, but shows their current plight. Rotten club. Who do you think gets the hook first? | |

| So who’s the first Premier League manager to get their P45? (Odds) on 15:29 - Nov 2 with 1524 views | Dennyx4 | The Glasner odds look quite generous, with an owner who likes pulling the trigger. I guess Carrick is on borrowed time, probably should have gone last week. I think there is likely to be a casualty in the international break. | | | |
| So who’s the first Premier League manager to get their P45? (Odds) on 15:39 - Nov 2 with 1494 views | _CliveBaker_ | Forest would be foolish to get rid of Glasner. He's a very good manager (wants to be for £250k a week innit) who needs time. They've also been a bit unlucky so far. Having said that who knows with Marinakis. | | | |

Agree he’ll turn it around, and is a good manager. They won’t be in the relegation mix much longer. Think Delap not fully delivering is part of the issue. Although he’s still having an impact. But Glasner is very outspoken. Had forgotten what he was like last season. He’s been renting again. Assume the Greek loon is still on side.

If Forest can't start scoring, they won't be able to escape their current situation. Doesn't matter how many good chances they create, the ball has to actually go in the net.

They’re just waiting for Howe’s higher-tier gardening leave period to end apparently, think it’s next week

| So who’s the first Premier League manager to get their P45? (Odds) on 09:14 - Nov 3 with 722 views | bluefunk | On a related note, this season was obviously a good one for a newly promoted team to stay up, 9 teams had new managers, some with little or no experience of the PL, several teams in transition, teams in their first season of European football, and so it’s playing out. The longer some of these managers are in place the better, Le Bris is apparently not in danger (vote of confidence incoming?), Carrick is a dead man walking, Sage looks well out of his depth, but Arbeloa seems to have steadied the ship. Glasner is the interesting one, he’s as likely to walk as he is to be sacked IMO, and he’s apparently got a big problem with player power. I don’t expect the pressure on Jaissle to reduce - long may it continue | | | |

Yup you’ve nailed it 9 new managers is a awful lot of change and from some deep dive AI research the following can be concluded: “My estimate: 60% survival — approximately 5 or 6 of the 9 new managers will still be in their jobs after 12 months. 40% (3–4 managers): likely to leave within 12 months. 60% (5–6 managers): likely to survive beyond 12 months.“ The European campaigns are proving a big factor for Palace and Sunderland perhaps? But less so Bournemouth who are flying. Hoping their trip to Prague Thursday is a benefit to us Sunday. I think Fulham manager is going to be OK. Seems to have the dressing room. And a good attack. I think the clubs should keep Sage and Glasner - but may not. Mateta red is a blow, and Sage comms style may cause him issues. Given the stats above I’d say Newcastle manager, Sage, and Glasner are close. And of course well done to GON! He’s just not in the picture, rightly.

Thankfully for the rest of us, it's usually Delap on the end of those chances. Still shaking my head that they loaned out Hutchinson like they did.

Actually think a lot of the clubs problems is that they are not attractive as the job would seem. Think Ipswich were really lucky to get GON and OGS as candidates summer gone. Even with Carrick , the delay is likely due to the fact they've actually failed to convince anyone or been willing to meet terms of Howe or Conte/ Nagelsman and firing the manager without a ready replacement will just turn the attention on the owners.

I think there is a lot in that. My view is they want Howe but he's too canny to take it unless its mega money. They know they should appoint Conte but he'll rock the boat and no one upstairs can handle him. Plus finnancialy they cant give him a squad he'll accept. They'd settle for Nanglesman but worry they need more authority in the dressing room. Which brings them back to Conte...... I think they should go all out for Dechamps and buy whoever he asks for.

Yep I'm in exactly the same boat. Howe couldn't be convinced of a rebuild at Newcastle and now he's going to be attracted for a rebuild at ManU? A club with whom he has no credit with either way. He had a better squad at Newcastle too. Better striker, wingers and midfield. BrunoF is supposed to be off in Jan or next summer too. Only thing Man U have to offer now is wages from their income and that's it. Facilities, squad, senior managenent, ect. have all been wasted to a percentage of whom they once were. Think even majority of fans have accepted reality and are happy to rebuild with time but the media and pundits won't give them this until they're relegated or something else really ghastly happens to just shut them up. Nagelsman won't come in because he'll want to bring his Sporting director which is a no no. Deschamps plays too defensively for league football and Conte will be chosen and want to play 3 at the back which par Mazroui none of them can really do. Whats incredible is you think of the bridges they have already burnt and you really do start to wonder who is meant to be the answer? Xaxi or Thomas Frank? Sorry for a long post and reply but the other big issue for clubs like Forest, Fulham and Palace is the separation of the Prem to the EFL means there are no longer targetable managers in the lower league who are not in charge of promotion seeking clubs anyway (Boro manager Hellberg or McKenna who are both still punts) and foreign leagues like the Erevidivisie or SerieA just haven't seemed to work in recent years again due to financial gaps and bounds. Only answer recently seems to be La Liga or Bundesliga so maybe that is where they will come from.

Awful so far. Brilliant stuff. Did read Pat Nevin suggest they want to get a run of hard games out the way so the new man doesn't come in and lose 4 on the bounce. Could be some logic in that but idk if it matters who they play right now

Can the equaliser save his bacon? But yet sounds logical they'll bring a new guy in at the right time. Maybe after international break??
