It's been closed at funny times for some time now

It must have been on the cards for a while?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

I lived just round the corner in Clementine Gardens from 2009-2014 and it was always a bit rubbish - never had much there that was in date but had decent amount of booze in

It was recently, as is the one on Tomline Rd - same family.

Sam Singh must have just got fed up with Cauldwell Hall Rd. They aren't exactly on the breadline though - which is the main thing.

I think Amar just made their money from selling booze to underage.

Probably, all the shops are the same family.

Clapgate Lane store seems to be adequately stocked with alcohol.

Ah, that is actually quite sad; that place has been there forever.

Pretty expensive, mind - bottle of absolutely toot wine in there (you know, one of those Gallo Bros 'Spirit of Bubblegum' or some such guff) always cost about £13.

Good to see their shop on Tomline Road (my old local) is still going.

Your man in the Leeds scarf in those pics always used to be in there, always greeted with a cheery "alright boss?", which is now our standard greeting in our group.

I thought this was about the Tomline Road one for a bit, but then there was a line about the shop being big and I was like, ok, what?
