Are you aware of town making any sort of approach for Bogle before he joined Wigan? This strikes me as the sort of deal some journo has suggested by putting 2+2 together.

Not that I'm aware. It was a friend of mine who scouts for another club who told me Town were represented at that match and his opinion - and that of one or two other scouts apparently - was that Bogle wasn't good enough for the Championship. |  | | |

Fair enough, i still think in this day and age 800k or whatever has got be "worth a punt" as at 24 his value is not likely to diminish much. | | | |

Not what I said, but Bogle's career so far is not really anything to write home about and a L1 side are deciding he doesn't work for them too.
Performed at L2 level and our scouts and other Championship scouts decided he wasn't good enough. The only team that did was one desperately fighting relegation | | | |
