U23 v Wednesday any news! (n/t) on 14:18 - Sep 2 by greyhound
Go on celina. I have a feeling he could be a gio esque player if he is in the right frame of mind
Yes, an exciting prospect once he gets up to speed.
In other news, the U18s game sounds as it if was great, they drew 4-4 having been 3-0 down in a game in which we scored two own goals and Burnley one. Jack Lankester (two, one pen) and trialist Prince Ogunmekan got the other goals.

Phil - why didn't Wolfenden play?
I got the impression he was of the players closest to first team action.

Time for an eye test.
Good player and bigger than I realised when I saw him warming up against Fulham.
Do hope Downes gets a start at QPR, do you think that's on Micks thinking?
Been a great start to season, but I really don't think we progress further without change in central midfield. Albeit I just can't see Mick dropping Skuse.

Woolfenden is a big fella, a Hreidarsson type of full-back if he continues at right-back.
I would guess Mick is thinking about three central midfielders or one of Downes or Hyam alongside Skuse if he sticks with 4-4-2. When he's played two he has tended to like Skuse holding and one other - Hyam, Douglas or in pre-season Downes - with a bit of bite getting up and down.
Given the lack of out and out central defenders and the failings in midfield against Fulham, I would guess we might see a switch to 3-5-2 at QPR, therefore probably a central midfield of Skuse, Ward and Downes/Hyam.
