Every year we want promotion. Sadly all I think is that I don't want us promoted to see us get murdered every week by premiership sides. We are to the championship what villa were to the premiership. Middlers, the odd great player, the odd good season. Over time though they lost momentum and sadly through financial strain we may have to face up to the fact that we simply won't be a force in this league.
Getting relegated wouldn't decimate the club but we would see an Ipswich unlike any other from recent memory. My true hope is that we can dig deep and keep middling while we give experience and build our fine youth Base into a challenging squad. My prediction is that in 5 years we won't be in this league.
