IT Nerds assemble 13:37 - Aug 24 with 818 views

Ok, I've set myself up a Hyper-V virtual environment and need to either:

1. drag a file into it from either my desktop or an HDD.FYI: I've C&P'ed a file and whilst it appeared to come in ok, it didn't work.
or
2. Give the VM Internet access so I can download the required file from a website.

Where does one start? It's all rather new to me.

That's exactly where I am, yes.

I usually work with Oracle's VM offering and never used Hyper-V before.

It's a .ent file if that helps you assist me.

EDIT: I'm thinking it's a file name convention issue and not VM related. Hold fire.
