NO F@CK!N WAY IS THAT A PENALTY... 20:34 - Dec 29 with 1230 views | unstableblue | ... not even close, I was thinking it might be a soft push - but it’s just absolutely nothing At that point in the game we were on top (well relatively) Their fans were turning and ready for a big boo at half time and they were toothless up front Luck not with us... and fans turning... despite no fault of the new manager We just lack decent full back, creative midfielder, and decent striker, as we have for several seasons Simples

NO F@CK!N WAY IS THAT A PENALTY... on 20:39 - Dec 29 with 1205 views | Steve_M | Spence's arm is out, it's not making any difference but it give Hugill the chance to go down. Ridiculously soft but careless again from us.

Even Brenner was annoyed enough to say that it wasn't a very nice decision, but that, 'oh well, these things sometimes happen' and to 'never mind'. I know what you mean, but when things are sh*t they do tend to get worse and it seems however you try nothing goes right. Negativity breeds and manifests doesn't it.

NO F@CK!N WAY IS THAT A PENALTY... on 22:05 - Dec 29 with 1015 views | Ewan_Oozami | Same in the Liverpool-Arsenal game - we all know what happens, except the refs apparently: 1. The forward leans back into the defender, 2. The defender brings his arms up to take a bit of the forward's weight stop the forward falling back into him, 3. The forward then moves their weight away from the defender and falls over without actually being pushed, 4. The defender's arms, because they are taking some weight, them move outwards once the weight is released, making it look as though the forward has been pushed over - some refs give them every time, some refs don't - clubs look at what refs give and don't give and brief their players accordingly....

Penalty harsh. But Spence routinely grabs opponents and has been lucky many times. 2nd one it's awful. No issue with him being out of position whilst pressing forward but he strides rather than sprints back despite the attack being through his channel. Lazy and unforgivable.
