Will that Melt ever get another team to ruin?

John Duncan ended up as a PE teacher didn't he?

No he started as one, then dropped down to manage us

Some may suggest that you are the melt.

Norwich hopefully.

Yes, would imagine he’ll be quite highly sought after in the lower leagues.

Certainly won’t get another championship job though.

Although I think there have been 6 or 7 appointments in League's One and Two since Hurst became available so either not highly sort after by those 6 or 7 or waiting for the right offer.
As you say I think if he is waiting for an offer from The Championship he may have a very very long wait.

Presumably a bit soon - but no doubt given his track record in the lower leagues someone will pick him up soon enough, and rightly so tbf

Certainly will need to build his reputation up again somewhat to get anywhere near being offered another job at this level

Why blame Hurst? If he wasn't good enough, I'd blame the board for not doing their due diligence in appointing him. All eyes on Milne, Symonds and Evans.

Agree - who was challenging his judgement.

If the money is as tight as suggested, someone should be checking every penny spent.

An experienced DoF alongside him could have been the difference between mid table and the total catastrophe of the current situation.

That said, we were lucky to get PL. I suspect that January will be pivotal; if he’s not backed by ME, i’m not expecting him to hang around. (That’s my opinion, and is not based on any inside information)

Why does it have to be so binary as to only put the blame at one party's door?

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Because they're the decision makers and responsible for the club's welfare.

I can't work out if I'd like or hate having that level of inflexible thinking.

Who saw what in Paul Hurst is a valid question.

Only criteria he would have fit would be if the club had a gimps mask and suit going spare.
