The fitness levels between League 1 and League 2 are similar.
The fitness levels between Championship and League 1 are vast.
Having been a Championship side, with a former Premiership manager, it is likely that the fitness levels demanded by Town will be higher than most other league 1 teams. I sympathise with any member of our squad who trains that hard every day and doesn't get a game.
If you drop a level, then the fitness demands are less and if a first team place is guaranteed then the football is more enjoyable. [Post edited 1 Jul 2019 19:59]
