I am not over analysing it, I just find Paul Lambert really funny, some of his answers are just bizarre.

Sounds like most of it was tongue in cheek and not as bitter as it might read!

I thought as much. I just enjoy the way he answers questions in strange ways, makes me laugh

Much of it was banter, I think he was thinking that the gap stretching to five points was going to be overstated in some quarters (without anyone actually saying anything along those lines), so rather ridiculed that angle to pour cold water on it.
