Dropped off at Crewe as there is an emergency on the line to Liverpool.

Trying to catch a train to Chester but that is 11 minutes late already. Will we ever get to the game?

Apparently when the problem happened, Liverpool had asked for it to be reviewed by VAR, thus causing the long delays while they try to find it in favour of Liverpool...

I guess so. We did with plenty of time to spare. Thank goodness for the train track app.

We were able to work out how it get to Rock Ferry from Crewe via Chester. Train seemed to run ever 10 minutes or so from Chester.

Many years ago we did the Liverpool tour. Went to Penny Lane, Strawberry Fields, the Cavern Club and took the Ferry across the Mersey. The song plays at top volume all the way!

I wouldn't like that I must say - there's a big difference between choosing to listen to a song & having it forcefed to you on endless loop!
