We ended up in teh third division thanks to a cumulative pile-up of bad Marcus Evans decisions.

Yes, and I think 90% of our fan base agree Lambert isn't the man, it isn't a unique viewpoint.
However, regardless of what he says, this isn't a young squad, it is very experienced. These players have let themselves down at times. PL wasn't responsible for making Norris and Holy make multiple mistakes. He wasn't responsible for Chambers spaffing up against Sunderland for example. That team on Saturday was just about the best he could have picked, he didn't make Nolan dribble a header to the keeper. It is very myopic, in my opinion, to say that this is Lambert and only Lambert. It mainly is, but the players imo have played a part in this poor season. | |
