Contradiction! on 18:08 - Mar 16 with 1409 views | Freddies_Ears | So you can take the kids to school, where they and - by extension - you get exposed to everyone else. But you can't have a drink in your local with your best mate. Really???
Contradiction! on 18:11 - Mar 16 with 1373 views | Ely_Blue | Not a contradiction, it is proven that kids are less susceptible to the virus, also would you be happy for all of those kids whose parents work in essential front line services are suddenly unable to work because they have to stay home to look after their kids? Think about it with some logic, schools will shut but only when it is absolutely necessary

Or when it coincides with the Easter holidays in a few weeks...

Butv what will the health service do come the Easter holidays? Also isn't it lucky that the kids can't infect there nursing parents who then aren't tested and spread it on the wards....it's bullsh1t.

The Easter holidays will have already been planned by any parent who has children of school age, I guess that your immature points scoring attitude hasn’t taken that into consideration yet?

I believe the evidence suggests the infection risk is lower in children but that may change. And also kids can still spread it despite not getting it. The government are being very selective about the information they give us. Shame it’s all over the internet.

The logic is: Kids can carry the virus There are a lot of adults in a school Parents all gather at the gates at primary schools You can go into a close environment with 1000 plus people, many with dubious person hygiene, but not in an office Thanks for being so dismissive!
Contradiction! on 19:07 - Mar 16 with 1119 views | befxblue | I think the main contradiction was 3 members of the government that advise you to socially distance at 2 meters apart for less than 15 minutes, were telling us to stop gathering at close quarters, from 3 podiums less than a meter and a half apart, for an hour. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The logic also behind not shutting schools until it is necessary is to limit taking frontline people away from essential services unnecessarily Maybe rather than posting an initial “sensationalist” post you should give some context to what you are saying

The context is that so much is gradually closing down but for, mainly, economic reasons schools are staying open regardless of staff safety and the huge potential for transmission of the virus. It is inconsistent with the other advice being given.
