Good work! I make that 144 apps for Town between them, an average of 13 a-piece.
Mind you, some went on to professional careers that weren't too shabby. Chris Swailes, in particular, played over 600 games and Richard Logan nearly 400.
Funny how if you were a Town-absorbed programme-devouring youngster we were all entranced by the next big thing which often turned out to the contrary (if he turned out at all!).
Older fans of my vintage might recall Frank Treacy who scored hatfuls for Town reserves for years, but could only manage 19 starts in 6 seasons for the first team - mind you, he did score 5 in that time. |  |
