I thought they went a few years ago. But that was possibly just one of the recent takeovers/sales of the company.

I started noticing their coaches after a friend (who has been deceased for some years now) always used to comment "Yay, Shearings!" whenever he saw one.

They merged with/took over Wallace Arnold a few years ago I believe.

Wallace Arnold Holidays are one of the companies within the group (as shown on the link in my previous reply).

Did you used to use any of those for your Scottish trips?


We did used to go with Shearings but not since about the year 2000.

We go with Lochs & Glens who hopefully (for their sake) are secure financially-they say that they are.

I had a mate who would go 'Shearer!' when seeing one on drives to away games.
