BBC1 HD has the crowd noise which is OK.
Red button doesn't have HD so although it's intresting to hear the players shouts I don't like the picture.

My thoughts completely. It’s a soulless thing without the fans. It doesn’t sit well with me that the top 2 divisions carry on whilst the rest doesn’t. I guess the money makes it more important, which in itself is a sad indictment of where football has got to.

BT had the crowd noise spot on in the Leicester and Brighton games...much louder than on Sky and it varied more. Even had loud applause for home players when they were being subbed. I was very impressed and it helped make both of those games very enjoyable for the uncommitted spectator...
