Any ideas on a date that the fans entering the stadiums could be announced 13:09 - Aug 21 with 1151 views | kizaitfc | Doesn't seem to be much time between now and the start of the season, and from watching some of the reactions to the fixture announcement clubs don't seem to have a clue what is going on. I saw Barry Fry was hoping fans would be allowed in from the start of the season, does he know something or is he just being far too optimistic. It is important for the clubs to know as I imagine the systems that are going to have to be put in place both physically in the stadiums and process of how seats will be allocated needs to be know. Also what the clubs do for ST holders that cannot attend I assume there will be streaming of every game? Are we waiting fro Boris to return from his camping trip or is there actually a plan in place that Barry Fry and I have clearly missed?

Think I saw that Charlton are wanting to do a test event soon. I’ll see if I can find it again

And no away fans for a number of months yet I would imagine. [Post edited 21 Aug 2020 15:47]

Any ideas on a date that the fans entering the stadiums could be announced on 16:07 - Aug 21 with 849 views | LankHenners | The impression you get is that clubs are working towards the October date suggested by the government but that seems optimistic. The only way it would seem possible to allow some fans in to stadiums is if the area the club is in is deemed 'safe' enough for it to happen. Hard to believe there'll be a sudden country-wide allowing of fans in when some parts of the country are still being put in local lockdowns (and the R rate overall has nudged above 1). I expect it'll be a case of seeing how test events and non-league games go with regards to attendance then try and scale it up from there. Will be difficult in some cases as some clubs with new stadiums that have big concourses etc. will be able to filter people through ok whereas clubs with smaller ones, cramped staircases etc. have more of an issue. Plus some out of Town grounds that most can only access through public transport carry another challenge. Will be up to each club to formulate their own plan within the government guidance but would think people might have to put hopes of attending matches in person on hold for a while.
