It's become quite a thing over here, I've noticed it especially during lockdown. We've loads of places around here that have started do takeouts, although often it's in 1 or 2 litre plastic bottles rather than the reusable 3-4 pint growlers. We used to have them when I was a kid - I remember my old man would always get scrumpy by the growler when we used to go on holiday in Cornwall. But they seem to become rarer for a while (or I never had the need for them as spent more time in pubs ). |  |
