No, Boris loves his new sound bite, starve a kid and save a quid.

If that were to apply to his own, then he would not have reason to grumble about his pay

there's only so many u-turns that can be done at one time

there's still brexit, upcoming

never mind various lockdowns, moonshot and the London congestion charge

A u-turn on Brexit?

Yeah... lets go for that.

They always promise they will lower immigration and then fail to do so. However, their supporters don't notice the failure and think they are the party keeping the swarm of immigrants at bay.

I do worry about a rise in the far right within the next 10 years. The Tories have always talked the talk on immigration but blamed the EU for their inaction. When numbers don't fall post Brexit despite all the red meat thrown to the racists, I think Farage (or someone even worse) could exploit the anger. It shows why governing by tabloid headlines is so dangerous.

It’s had its day, as folk see what these populists are really about once in power.

Trump has been an actual horror show - and Johnson has shown what electing a set of vacuous slogans delivers.

As to Farage, he would be better spending his time covering his arse, as the trials that will follow Trump's ejection from the White House will undoubtedly be more far-reaching than many on here imagine.

And I have no doubt that like likes of Farage, Banks, Leave, Russian money and Johnson will be dragged in

That 'story' is far from over. In fact, I would go as far as to say it has barely begun.
