Match Off Tomorrow - Coincidence or Not??? 17:45 - Dec 18 with 1567 viewsSimon68

So Peterborough’s Chairman was very angry that moving into Tier 3 means that Posh have to tell 2000 fans they can’t attend Saturdays game, then just one day later an unnamed Posh player has COVID positive result and match postponed.....telling fans they can’t go averted by game being called off.

Just saying it seems very very very convenient = fishy......

But gives us a chance to get more of our injuries sorted.

Yes a coincidence.

Or we think they are so angry about no fans that they've faked it and will all have to isolate over Christmas at the owner's request just to prove some sort of point to people who won't care?

Truly impaired.

There's no conspiracy here, it's not like we we're a scary prospect to play against.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Why would a team wish to suspend/postpone three matches in this of all seasons ? It will just add to the fixture congestion.

I would assume if their area is Tier 3 it means there's more cases around there and more likelihood of playing staff catching the thing.

One of us probably leaked to Posh that Alan Judge would be playing.

We are an easier 3 points than doing 50 in 30 zone. They’ll have wanted to play.

Wishing a speedy recovery to anyone who has tested positive at Posh.

Exactly, it won’t have been their decision. They’d much rather play us now then when all our players are back. Will have been whoever enforces the rona rules forcing them.
