When all this sh1t is over on 10:23 - Jan 4 by bluelagos
According to the link I posted
120 mph for a belly flop. 15-180 mph head first. 300 mph for a stream lined pro'.
Only ever done one (Tandem) and I was defo closer to 120 I reckon.
I once did the basic 2,000 ft from a static line.
You only fall for 5 seconds before the chute is fully deployed, but when in a place of complete nothingness after leaping from a perfectly operative plane, all alone, with lots of rushing air around your ears...
It feels enough for a first time and it's really disorientating!

I will go head first with my dunces cap on.......will report back.....
Or not.
My nephew is a professional sky diver and he recently did some base jumping off the Milau bridge.
For anyone who wants to do it, it's not illegal to base jump in France. But stopping on the Milau bridge is a traffic violation and comes with a 11 Euro fine I think it was. Luckily all the gendarmes were busy elsewhere so they avoided any grief from the local plod.
He spent a week on various jumps and then had to isolate on his return. Pushing the boundaries of recreation way beyond what many would find acceptable, no doubt.
The base jumping video he took looked awesome - but you can't do it tandem apparently. I did ask :-)
