Having talked with Peterborough-based journalists at the game, they were surprised by how much the state of the pitch had dominated the discourse this end, so not sure it came from them. It is a bit bizarre that we saw such a massive change in shape and personnel on account of the pitch. I get the reasons for going a bit narrower and more direct, but it's mad that we've been in horrible form and unable to create anything for weeks & months, which hasn't prompted a switch from the uninspiring 4-5-1, but a sh1t pitch and we're anybody's.
