At least he is not trying to pretend he can see things that the fans can't and saying poor performances are really good. Lambert seemed to do that from day 1. That's not to say the ending will be different, but it's a good sign.

Also, with Lambert preferring 4 2 3 1 etc which players did he sign that actually suited that formation.
I think we may at least see with Cook some thought process in the signings he makes
