Poster A describes the football at Portsmouth under Cowley as being "horrific".
Poster B points out that Cowley was appointed in the same week as Cook and had Cook achieved similar results to Cowley then we would be comfortably in the play offs.
I think Cook could and should have done better since his appointment. Unlike you, however, I have 100% faith in Cook to get things right next season. He's a better long term than short term appointment. The Cowleys would have been a good appointment for both. | |

What about the tens of others posts backing him and telling others to lay of the criticism a bit and direct more of it at the players. Is there a reason you didn't quote those?
Yes i had some concerns and sometimes we are quite emotive immediately after a bad result but Cook was always my first choice and once he's got rid of this filthy rotten squad i have no doubt he will be a huge success here. | |

All the "what-ifs?" are completely pointless though.
IF Cowley had come here instead of Cook & had to work with *our* players instead of Pompey's, he might have done even worse. Who knows?
Therefore all speculation & longing for something different than what we actually have is futile, and does become very tedious when often repeated. |  |
