I think there's so much hype that people are going to be a bit underwhelmed when we sign a handful of League One players Cook feels can do a job, and not a Championship standard squad worth millions.

Looking back at his previous squads. Hes had standard players who know how to do the simple things well. Like getting crosses in no matter where you are on the pitch
The centre midfielders tend to be workhorses and box to box so they can swap positions dependent on who has the ball. The fullbacks seem to be the most important of all positions. Must overlap..must be able to cross. Must get involved and get in the box when balls on the opposite side.

I cant see championship players dropping down to 5k a week. I cant see us spending more than 5k a week whilst at league 1 on more than maybe 2 players.
So for me it will be league 1 players who have shown ability to be more.
